Dear Parents;
The New York City Department of Health will be here on Tuesday October 22nd to review records of students and staff in all PreK and Kindergarten classrooms. As a reminder to parents any immunization records not up to date may jeopardize your child's attendance until the records are brought up to date.
Also I will like to remind the parents that breakfast is allowed in the classroom up to 7:50 a.m. Class begins immediately at 8:00 a.m. Pickup is at 3:15 p.m. If the child is being picked up by an individual not already listed in the emergency card, parents must call the office with the name and the individual must present identification. No goody bags or popcorn on children's birthday parties due to allergies and it's a choking hazard.

Fridays is dress-down and must bring a dollar.

Religion: Wonderful Me
Reading: Observe book handling skills; listen and respond to story read aloud; discuss story vocabulary words; listen for comprehension; use prior knowledge; recall details; identify sounds; discriminate between soft and loud sounds; learn to understand positional words: in, on; understand descriptive words: same and different; follow oral directions.
Math: Counting forwards from 0-10 and backwards from 10 to 0; identify numbers 1 and 2; form numbers 1 and 2.
Science: investigate the external characteristics of a pumpkin; plant pumpkin seeds.
Social Studies: Homes
Arts/Crafts: Make a Jack-O-Lantern
Story Time: Big Pumpkin; Pumpkin, Pumpkin
