Dear Parents,

On Tuesday, February 28th, we have Super Kids and Hippie Day.  For Hippie Day, they are able to dress up as hippies or a character from "Happily Ever After," the children's reading program.  Characters may be taken from: "The Three Bears," "Little Red Riding Hood," "La Tortuga," "The Nightingale," and "Hey Diddle, Diddle."  You have any concerns, please speak to me to provide you ideas.

On Thursday, March 1st, is Dr. Seuss Day.  The children may come in dressed up as a character from one of his books.

At 8:00 a.m., we must clean up the room. Therefore, NO BREAKFAST AFTER 8:00 A.M.

Every Friday, children may dress down if they bring in $1.

Dear Parents,

Our class' Black History Month presentation will take place on Wednesday, February 22nd, at 9:00 a.m. in the auditorium. Please have the children come to school nicely dressed (no jeans).  Parents are welcome.

Dear Parents,

Noon dismissal this Monday, February 13th.  This Tuesday, February 14th, the children should come in wearing a red shirt.  Our Valentine's Day party will take place.  Please bring in a bag of candy - not hard candy.  School is closed this Friday, February 17th.

Also, our Black History Month presentation will be next week Wednesday, February 22nd.

Dear Parents,

We are collecting a bag of chocolates/candy for Valentine's Day Party.  Please no hard candy.

Those parents who were unable to see me on Friday for parent-teacher conferences, may make an appointment to see me.

Remember, dress down on Fridays if children bring in $1.
