11/26/18 to 11/30/18

Dear Parents,

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Parents of students in all the PreK programs will be receiving Developmental Surveys in January and June. All PreK students will receive portfolio assessments at the end of the quarters in November and March when the older students receive a report card.

Noon dismissal on Monday, November 26th.

Please check the cubbies to make sure your child extra clothing.  Please make sure your child has appropriate clothing for the weather.

Children should not walk into classroom with breakfast at 8:00 a.m.

Reading: Writing the letter Ff; identifying Dd, Ee, Ff, and Gg; identifying Gg and its corresponding sound

Math: Identifying numbers 1 through 8; making groups of up to 8 objects

Science: How rain is formed

11/19/18 to 11/23/18

Dear Parents,

On Monday, November 19th, the school will celebrate of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.  Students may dress up in a Mickey Mouse/Minnie Mouse outfit instead of their uniform today. There will be NO contest held this year.

Parent-teacher conferences on Tuesday, November 20th between 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Dismissal on Tuesday for ALL students is at 12:00 noon. After School Program in Session. My conferences will be held in my classroom.

The Food Drive ends on Wednesday, November 21st. The canned foods and turkeys will be delivered by the Confirmation Class to St. Patrick's Home outreach program in the Bronx. The class with the largest amount of collected cans will have a pizza party so far K-1 is in the lead as of Friday.

All health forms are due by December 10th so that they may be loaded into the New York State Immunization Report. Students who are missing the health forms and immunizations may be restricted from class by the NYSDOH (New York State Department of Health).

Dear Parents,

On Friday, November 16th, we have the Native American presentation at 9:00 a.m. Children should wear dress up clothing (no sneakers, no jeans).

Canned food drive continues this week to assist in the outreach program at St. Patrick's Home. Please bring canned food to the classroom.

Dear Parents,
We hope you enjoyed the Halloween Parade.
Picture money envelopes are due to Mrs. Resto by Monday November 5th. Picture Day is Tuesday, November 6th. Students are to wear dress up clothes/or school uniform. No jeans, ripped clothes, teddy bears, graphic shirts, etc.

School is closed on Monday, November 12th.
