Dear Parents;
I will like to remind you and your family members that pickup is at 3:00 p.m. If the child is being picked up by an individual not already listed in the emergency card, parents must call the office with the name and the individual must present identification. Also, on December 18th there will be an early dismissal at 2:00 PM. Christmas Recess will begin on Dec. 21st and we will resume on Jan. 4th.
On December 17th the children will be singing performing at Lessons and Carols. This will be recorded for the parents to view, I will give you more details when get more information .The girls must wear a red dress, boy must wear black pants and green sweater, turtle neck, or green shirt. And I'm asking for $5 ,and a bag of chocolate candy for the party. Also, I would like to wish your your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

We need paper towel, and Lisol wipes, or Clorox wipes

I would like to remind the parent that teacher Conferences will be on Friday November 13, 2020 from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM via Zoom. There will be an early dismissal at 12:00 noon. Check Smart Tuition balance before Zoom Meeting. Please, email me to let me know what is the best time for you.

First Day of School Sept. 9th, 2020
Dear Parents:
I am delighted to welcome your child to our Pre-k program. I think this will be a joyous experience even with the on going of the Covid-19. We will take all the precautions to keep your child safe.
The following reminders:
- Pre-k children come in at 9:00 AM on Wednesday.
- Temperature will be check at the main entrance.
- Dismissal is at 3:00 PM.
- parents are to wait until the teacher calls to retrieve your child.
- Child must wear a mask.
- Children are allow to bring their own lunch if you wan to, however, if its warm food it has to be in a thermos.
- Have your child bring a frozen water bottle.
- Bring all paper work that will be sent home as soon as possible; specially the emergency
- Label everything your child brings in.
- Velcro shoes for your child.
- No belts for the boys; make sure pants fit properly.
- Talk to your child about the positive experience he will have at school.
- If you need to speak to me, you must call to make an appointment.

Tomorrow I will be making phone call everyday If you have any questions I will be happy to answer them. Zoom Lessons will be on Monday at 11:00, Tuesday at 11:30 AM. On Wednesday at 11:00 we will begin our virtual ceremony. Please make sure you log in on time.
End of the Year Farewell Zoom will go on for those students who tuition is up to date in Prek-1. Zoom sessions will continue until June 18. There will be a Parent Teacher conference on June 19th, and June 22 for those parents which tuition payments are up to date. I will call to find out what is the best time of the day for you.
I would like to remind you that there are still some work package at the school office from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. These are activities will be for your child to do classwork at home. It would be a great idea to acquire the rest of the booklets so that your child can use them for classwork and their summer vacation. Please bring shopping bags for the booklets. As you may know school will en on June 18th, 2020.

Strategies:
- First, have your child spell June.
- Then ask him for words with initial sound /j/.
- Then ask: How many days we have in a week? What day are we in? What is the date? (Say day, month, number, year) Example: Today is Tuesday June 16th, the year 2020.
- Have the children count forward from 1-10, and from 10 to 1.
- Count in ordinals from 1st- 5th.

- I will ask your to identify rhyming words in the story.
- Then, have your child recite the end of the rhyme alone.
- Then ask: What happened at the end of the rhyme?
- Then ask your child to act out the rhyme "Jack and Jill."
- Ask: What is the tittle of the rhyme? What happened at the beginning of the rhyme? What happened at end of the rhyme? What are some words from the rhyme that are rhyming words?
- First, display two lines of three cubes or any other objects each.
- Then go over vocabulary word: equal,more, fewer
- Then ask your child if the groups are equal. (The same)
- Then take away one cube from one group.
- Then ask: How many cubes are in each group? Are the groups are equal now? What did you do to find out which group has one fewer?
- Continue the to the same with other numbers of cubes or other objects.
