Dear Parents

 I would like to inform you that registration for next year has began. If you need any help call Alba or Mrs. McGarry. We hope to see your child back in our school next year. 

Also, I will be doing the Summer Camp in-person. I f you are interested please call the office or have them transfer the call to me. I will answer any questions during the time of 1:00-2:00 PM.

 Remember that Easter Recess begins on Friday March 26th after dismissal at 3:00PM. and we will resume classes on Monday April 12th. Mrs. Rosa and I wish you and your family a happy and safe Easter.

Reminder:

  • We are asking for $5 for our Easter Party and a bag of candy.
  • There will a dress-up on Friday.
  •  Have your child create their own Easter Hat for Friday.
  • Dress down on Fridays and bring a dollar. (Some of the children are not bringing the dollar.)
  • Check to see if your child extra clothing are appropriate for the season .

  • We need Clorox wipes, any spray sanitizer or any sanitizer you can find will be appreciated.
  • Review math and reading with your child. 
  • Your child's entrance to school is through the church not through the office.

Religion: Bible Stories: Empty Tomb; The Story of Jesus told for Children; Celebrating Easter

Reading: Respond to Country Mouse, City Mouse; identify the color brown, rectangle, arrow, long, and short; and follow oral directions; locate pictures; describe personal experience; determine important ideas; make comparisons; understanding the relationship between print and pictures.

Math: Exploring subtraction by taking a group of objects from a large group and counting what is left. ( 6-3=3)

 Dear Parents,

On Monday March 15th there will be an early dismissal at 12:00. Please make sure your child  is picked up at that time. March 17th St. Patrick's Day your child may dress in green.

Also, I would like to inform you that registration for next year has began. If you need any help call Alba or Mrs. McGarry. We hope to see your child back in our school next year.

I would like our parents to know that Moving Up Ceremony will be on June 22, 2021 at 10:00 AM. This will be held in our church,  only four people per child are invited. This is to follow with the Health Dept.

Also, Easter recess will begin at dismissal Friday March 26, and will resume on Friday April 9th, 2021.

Dress down on Fridays and bring a dollar. (Some of the children are not bringing the dollar.)

March 1st. - March 5th, 2021

 Dear Parents:

I would like to inform you that the student may dress up as their favorite Dr. Seuss character on Tuesday March 2nd. The children have been enjoying dress up days. We will be looking forwards for those great character of Dr. Seuss books.

Re-registration for your child is  has began. If you have any questions call the school office. If you need a Virtual Tour call Mrs. McGarry at the school office to arrange for one.

Also, Moving Up Ceremony will occurring in  June. Due to the Covid-19 there will be a limit of 4 adults per child.

Feb. 22 - Feb. 26, 2021

 Dear Parents,


There will be no early dismissal  Monday February 22nd. There will a full day of school.

Also, we will be celebrating the 100 Days of School on Friday Feb. 26. Have your child dress up, there are many great ideas in the internet. There will be a dress up contest in each class, so be creative. We want to show the children that school is also a fun place to be.

Please check with me  to make sure your child extra clothing.  Please make sure your child has appropriate clothing for the weather.

  • Bring back their sleeping mats.
  • Dress down on Fridays, bring a dollar.

  • Talk to them about the lessons we have done in class, and practice with them.

Feb. 15th-Feb. 19th, 2021

 Dear Parents;

I would like to remind you that Ash Wednesday Mass is at 10:00 AM. There will be no placing of ashes on the children's forehead. Stations of the Cross will be held every Friday at 2:00 PM.

Registration for next year begins on Feb. 24,2021. If you need a Virtual Tour please call the office to make arrangements. We hope to see your child back in O.L.Q.M. in September. We are always committed to your child's education, and we make sure your your child feels that we are part of his or her family.

February 8th - February 12th, 2021

 Dear Parents;


On  Wednesday, Feb. 10th there will be a Valentines Party for our classroom. The children can dress up, and bring a bag of candy to share with their friends.

Also, remember that school will closed on Feb. 11th, 12th, and 15th. Please check your calendar for everything is going on the month of February.

We are collecting $5 for Valentine's Day Party

Bring a bag of candy to share with friends.

Valentine's Party will be on Wednesday Feb. 10th (Dress up)

Practice with your child identifying and writing the letters of the alphabet, identifying number 0 - 10, and practice making groups of up to six objects, and joining in (Combine two groups of objects to make a larger group.)

Read to your child often.

Have your child complete activities on SeeSaw.
