12/14/15 to 12/18/15

Dear Parents,

Monday, December 14th, there will be noon dismissal.

On Tuesday, December 15th, there will be a Christmas assembly in the auditorium at 9:00 a.m., which will be approximately 45 minutes.  Boys should wear khaki pants, a red turtleneck, and black shoes.  Girls should wear red skirts, white turtlenecks, white tights and black shoes.  This was informed to all parents, grandparents, and babysitters two weeks ago.

On Friday, there will be Lessons and Carols in the church beginning at 8:30 a.m.  Afterwards, our class will have their Christmas party.  We are asking for $5 for the Christmas party and a bag of candy to share with their classmates. Children may wear the same outfit as Tuesday.

Happy Holidays!!!!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Fundora

11/9/15 - 11/13/15

Dear Parents,

November is Canned Food Month.  Canned food is collected to be distributed to the home bound elderly.  During the month also dress down day on Fridays for $1 - the money collected is used to purchase the turkeys for the distribution. Parents wishing to donate a little extra are asked to leave it off with either Alba or Mrs. Resto. Last year we collected enough money to purchase 17 turkeys.

This Wednesday, November 11th, school is closed in observance of Veterans Day.

This week we are reviewing the letter Cc, its sound, how it is formed, and words beginning with Cc.  In Math we are doing size patterns and shape patterns.  In Social Studies and Religion, the children will be learning about community helpers.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Fundora
