Dear Parents,

Below are this week's lesson plans.  This week is a busy week.  The whole week the school will have a book fair.  I will be available to make book suggestions.  Usually books costs minimally $5 each.  

There will be a Halloween parade for students in grades Pre-K and Kindergarten beginning 8:30 AM on Friday October 31st.  Parents are invited for the parade.  After the parade, our class will have a party.  If you have not done so yet, please bring in $5 for your child for the party.  Also, please bring in a bag of candy or juice.  The candy should be soft and individually wrapped.  Party is only for the children.  There is no gym this Friday.

Finally, review homework with your child every day.  Teach your child to put their coats on.  Practice writing the letters Aa through Dd.  Some parents are frustrated with the difficulty of learning to write.  This takes time and be patient with your child.  If you need tips or suggestions on helping them to write, please see me in the mornings.

This week we are beginning patterns. Please review basic colors with your children. Also, start to go over with your children their names, ages, addresses, and phone numbers. Reminder that this Friday children must come in gym clothes for gym.

Dear Parents,

Below are this week's lesson plans.  There is a family project this week. The children will need 4 pictures. One picture of the entire family. One picture of the family doing an activity. One picture of your child's favorite sport or hobby. One picture of the family pet or a pet your child wants. Please bring in family pictures by Wednesday, October 15th.

Please bring in $5.00 for the Halloween Party.  Finally, please review vocabulary words with your children.

Our First Day of Classes

We learned to keep an eye on the little things by using magnifying glasses, we learned how to make squares and rectangles of different sizes, we learned how eyedroppers work, and we learned how to work with and play with our new classmates and friends.
